Today is the first day of June and the lazy (crazy?) days of summer are stretched out before us, full of opportunities to relax and reconnect with ourselves and the people we love most in the world.

Snack Idea: Ants on a Log

After all that scavenging, the troops are sure to be hungry, and Ants on a Log are a quick and easy snack!

Cut stalks of celery into bite-sized logs, fill the center with peanut butter, cream cheese, hummus, or yogurt. To make the “ants” use raisins, dried cranberries, dried bits of mango, papaya, or blueberries, chocolate chips, or sunflower seeds. Not a fan of celery? Try slices of hollowed out cucumbers, bell pepper slices, or baby carrots!
